The rules of admission the foreign citizens and stateless persons for study in Ukrainian universities in 2022 are significantly different from previous years: Admission of foreigners to study in 2022 can be carried out in real form at the National Technical University “Kharkiv Polytechnic Institute” (61002, Kharkiv, str. Kirpychova, 2) and a specially organized regional center (office) of the National Technical University “Kharkiv Polytechnic Institute” (58000, Chernivtsi, str. Holovna, 203a) or remotely with the participation of partner companies of the National Technical University “Kharkiv Polytechnic Institute” from distance recruitment of foreign students.
Foreigners can participate in remote (on-line) admission if they:
have received an invitation to study registered in the Automated System “Electronic Journal” of a State-owned enterprise authorized by the Ministry of Education and Science of Ukraine;
have received a set of information and consulting support services, and have received a visa to enter Ukraine (except for citizens of visa-free entry countries) for the purpose of study;
or have carried out the procedure of education documents legalization in the country of their issuance: have carried out legalization in the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the country that issued the education document; have carried out legalization in the consular department of a diplomatic institution of Ukraine abroad (consular legalization or apostille).
In order to organize the remote recruitment of foreign citizens to study for higher education, the University enters into an agreement with a partner organization that is a resident of the country of origin of the entrants. The subject of the agreement is the provision of personal identification services, verification of the original documents of the entrant, organization of receiving applications of entrants in electronic form, provision of premises and technical means for conducting consultations and entrance tests by the institution of higher education in remote form. The Admissions Committee of the Educational and Scientific Institute of International Education provided conclusion of 16 contracts with partner companies of our university while analyzing the modern markets of educational services. Our partners are companies from Nigeria, the People’s Republic of China, Türkiye, Azerbaijan, Lebanon, Uzbekistan, Morocco, Egypt and Kenya.
In the case of remote admission, the foreigner sends legalized and notarized copies of documents on previous education to the University by postal services. At the first crossing of the state border of Ukraine and after arrival at the University, the foreigner brings the original documents in person.
University can carry out enrollment of foreign entrants for study at the expense of individuals and / or legal entities:
1) three times a year within the deadlines set by the Admission Rules for obtaining bachelor’s and master’s degrees;
2) during the year for studying in graduate schools, adjuncts, in groups of pre-university training of foreign citizens.
Citizens of the Russian Federation and the Republic of Belarus, who do not have a permanent (temporary) residence permit in Ukraine, are admitted to study with the individual permission of the Ministry of Education and Science of Ukraine.
Now, the admission to study at the National Technical University “Kharkiv Polytechnic Institute” has just started and will continue until December 1, 2022.
