Athletes from NTU «KhPI» won «gold» and «bronze» at the Open Poland U20

Students of Kharkiv Polytechnic, Viktor Borogan and Ruslan Prokopov, won gold and bronze medals at the International Freestyle Wrestling Tournament «Open Polish U20» (Poland). These results allowed Ukraine to take the first team place in the prestigious international competition! The tournament was attended by athletes from Poland, Ukraine, Germany, Hungary, Slovakia, France and Lithuania.

Students of the Department of Physical Education of NTU «KhPI» Victor Borogan and Ruslan Prokopov won gold and bronze medals at the International Freestyle Wrestling Tournament «Open Polish U20» (Poland). Viktor had no equal in the fights in the weight category up to 65 kg, and Ruslan showed the third result in the weight category up to 125 kg. As a result of the competition, the Ukrainian team took the 1st place in the team competition, and this success is due to the great merit of the athletes of Kharkiv Polytechnic.

The Open Polish U20 international freestyle wrestling tournament took place on 14-15 March, 2025, in the northern Polish town of Karlino. Athletes from Poland, Ukraine, Germany, Hungary, Slovakia, France, and Lithuania took part in the competition for the championship.
