An international internship program for students was presented at NTU «KhPI». REGISTRATION

NTU «KhPI» presented the international internship program Ukraine Summer Internship Program from Argonne National Laboratory. It is intended for 4th-6th year students who are interested in nuclear, thermal, and hydroelectric power, have a sufficient level of English language proficiency, and are highly motivated to pursue professional development in this field. The training will take place from 21 July  to 8 August  in Kyiv and will include lectures by Ukrainian experts and specialists from Argonne National Laboratory, practical classes, interactive discussions, and a trip to the Chernobyl exclusion zone. All selected participants will receive a scholarship, and the most successful graduates of the program will have the opportunity to visit Argonne National Laboratory in the United States.  The National Technical University «KhPI» hosted a presentation of the prestigious international program Ukraine Summer Internship Program, organized by Argonne National Laboratory (USA) in cooperation with the State Scientific and Technical Center for Nuclear and Radiation Safety (SSTC NRS). The project was presented by Tetiana Verbytska, press secretary of the SSTC NRS. The event was attended by 4th-6th course students, director Roman Tomashevskyi, heads of relevant departments of the Educational and Scientific Institute of Energy, Electronics and Electromechanics of the National Technical University «KhPI», educational project coordinator Kseniia Minakova, curators, and teachers of technical specialties at NTU «Kharkiv Polytechnic Institute».

The Ukraine Summer Internship Program is intended for engineering students at Ukrainian universities who are interested in nuclear energy, thermal and hydroelectric power, and who have a sufficient level of English language proficiency and are highly motivated to pursue professional development in this field.

Project dates: 21 July– 8 August, 2025, Kyiv. The program includes lectures by specialists from Argonne National Laboratory and Ukrainian experts; practical classes; interactive sessions; and an educational trip to the Chernobyl Exclusion Zone. All selected participants will receive a scholarship, and the most successful graduates of the program will have the opportunity to visit Argonne National Laboratory in the United States.
