On October 21, 2025, at 17:00 (Kyiv) a joint meeting of the Kharkiv Chemical Seminar and the Kharkiv Quantum Seminar will be held on the Zoom platform. The lecturer for the event will be Nobel Prize Winner in Physics, Director of the Max Planck Institute of Quantum Optics, co-founder and CEO of the Center for Molecular Fingerprinting (Hungary) and founder and director of the Center for Advanced Laser Technologies at Ludwig Maximilians University in Munich (Germany), Prof. Dr. Ferenc Krausz.
The topic of the presentation is “From Attosecond Physics to Infrared Molecular Fingerprinting: Shaping the Future of Preventive Healthcare.” The lecture will discuss how fundamental research based on scientific curiosity can lead to discoveries and developments that are of great social importance. Moderators of the event: Academician of the National Academy of Sciences of Ukraine Valentyn Chebanov, Corresponding Member of the National Academy of Sciences of Ukraine Andrii Sotnikov, Professor Sergey Shevchenko.
The joint seminar is organized by: the Institute of Functional Materials Chemistry; State Scientific Institution «Institute for Single Crystals» of National Academy of Sciences of Ukraine; B.I.
