The Department of Strategic Management was established in 2000. The department’s team has significant experience in consulting and conducting training sessions for business structures and government authorities.

Information technology has become an integral part of almost all sectors of the economy. Accordingly, the demand for specialists in IT project management has significantly increased. Modern students strive to obtain education in fields that will ensure their competitiveness in the labor market and high chances of employment.

According to the order of NTU “KPI” No. 206Д dated May 29, 2024, the name of the department “Strategic Management” has been changed to “Project Management in Information Technologies.”.

Educational programs worldwide are adapting to rapidly changing technological conditions. The change of the department’s name is a logical step in response to these changes, reflecting the integration of IT into curricula and the training of project management specialists. This will allow the department to introduce new courses, develop specializations, and collaborate with IT companies.
