KhPI is in the TOP of the best universities in Eastern Europe and Central Asia

NTU “KhPI” was included in the ranking of the best universities in developing countries in Europe and Central Asia QS EECA University Rankings 2020. In total, 350 universities are represented in the TOP of the British consulting company Quacquarelli Symonds. Kharkiv Polytechnic took 128th place and was in the top ten best Ukrainian universities.

In the QS EECA University Rankings 2020 rating, twenty universities of Ukraine were represented, KhPI located in seventh place among them. The top ten Ukrainian universities look like this: T. Shevchenko National University of Kiev, NTU ” I. Sikorsky Kiev Polytechnic Institute”, V. Karazin Kharkiv National University, Lviv Polytechnic National University, Sumy State University, National University of Kyiv-Mohyla Academy, NTU “Kharkiv Polytechnic Institute”, National University of Life and Environmental Sciences of Ukraine, Donetsk National Technical University, Cherkasy National University after B. Khmelnitsky.

The leaders of the QS EECA University Rankings 2020 rating are Russian, Finnish and Czech universities. The full list can be found here.

QS EECA University Rankings was first published in 2014. 10 factors are used to compile the rating: academic reputation (30% of the assessment), reputation among employers (20%), ratio of the number of teachers and students (10%), number of scientific articles (10%), international research (10%), web -influence (5%), the number of employees with a PhD degree (5%), the number of cited works (5%), and two indicators (2.5% each) related to the number of foreign students.
