The winning triad of Kharkiv Polytechnics

Three Kharkiv Polytechnics won the title of winners of the city competition «Young Person of the Year 2024».  Among them: Yuliia Petrova, a senior lecturer at the Foundry Department of NTU «KhPI» and a representative of the party youth movement (nomination «Public Activity»), Dmytro Danylchenko, an associate professor at the of Electric Power Transmission Department of NTU «KhPI» (nomination «Scientific Activity»), and Yuliia Gadaieva, a postgraduate student at the Department of Chemical Engineering and Industrial Ecology of NTU «KhPI» and a multiple European champion in para-armwrestling (nomination «Physical Culture and Sports»).  The winners were awarded by Kharkiv Mayor Ihor Terekhov. The event took place on 7 June, 2024.

This year, the competition was held in 11 nominations: «Pupils of general secondary education institutions», «Pupils of vocational (vocational-technical) education institutions», «Students of professional higher education institutions», «Students (cadets) of higher education institutions», «Scientific activity», «Culture and art», «Physical culture and sports», «Activities in the non-production sphere», «Activities in the field of production, entrepreneurship», «Public activity», «Volunteer activity». Yuliia Petrova, a senior lecturer at the Foundry Department, a representative of the party youth movement, won in the nomination «Public Activity», Dmytro Danylchenko, associate professor of the Electric Power Transmission Department, won in the nomination «Scientific Activity», and Yuliia Gadaieva, a postgraduate student of the Department of Chemical Engineering and Industrial Ecology of NTU «KhPI», a multiple European champion in para-armwrestling, won in the nomination «Physical Culture and Sports».

We congratulate Kharkiv Polytechnic on their Victory and are proud of them!  We wish them further achievements!

The competition «Young Person of the Year» is held within the framework of the city program «Kharkiv Youth». The purpose of the competiton is to support gifted and talented youth, encourage significant achievements of young professionals in production, scientific and creative activities, as well as in various spheres of public life.
