In April 2025, based on the results of many years of fundamental and applied research in the field of nuclear energy and nuclear technologies, a scientific monograph was published – «Modeling in NPP Engineering. Interval and Regression Models of Equipment NPP Technical Characteristics». The work was created by the scientists of the National Technical University «KhPI» and the National Science Center «Kharkiv Institute of Physics and Technology».
The authors of the monograph «Modeling in NPP Engineering. Interval and Regression Models of Equipment NPP Technical Characteristics» are experienced and young scientists: Head of the Department of Steam Generator Construction, Doctor of Technical Sciences, Full Professor Oleksandr Yefimov (NTU «KhPI»); Candidate of Technical Sciences, Full Professor Tetiana Potanina (NTU «KhPI»); Doctor of Technical Sciences, Professor Mykola Pylypenko (NSC KIPT); Candidate of Technical Sciences, Associate Professor Valery Kavertsev (NTU «KhPI»); Researcher Tetiana Harkusha (NTU «KhPI»); PhD student Igor Sydorkin (NTU «KhPI»).
The research work is devoted to the use of modern mathematical methods for processing experimental data to assess and improve the properties of structural materials of nuclear reactor cores and technological characteristics of NPP power equipment that provide the safety and reliability of their operation. The monograph is intended for scientists and engineers working in the field of nuclear energy, as well as for teachers and PhD students specializing in this field of knowledge. It is an example of many years of successful scientific cooperation between scientists at the scientific bases of NTU «KhPI» and NSC KIPT of the National Academy of Sciences of Ukraine.
The monograph «Modeling in NPP Engineering. Interval and Regression Models of Equipment NPP Technical Characteristics» was published in English in the EU country (Riga, Latvia) in April 2025.
We congratulate the scientists of NTU «KhPI» and wish them new scientific achievements!
