The University pays great attention to the issues of equality, diversity and inclusiveness at all levels of education, research and organisational activities.
The university has a Methodological Council of the National Technical University “Kharkiv Polytechnic Institute” (NTU “KhPI”).
It is a permanent advisory and recommendation body that determines the direction and prospects for the development of training and retraining, is a generator of new approaches to the organisation of the educational process and teaching methods, plans and directs educational, methodological and scientific work at the university.

The university has developed and is implementing the CONCEPT OF SUPPORTING EQUALITY, DIVERSITY AND INCLUSION POLICY IN NTU “KhPI”
The principles of inclusive education at NTU “KhPI” are aimed at creating accessible learning environments for all learners, regardless of their individual needs, abilities, or limitations. The primary goal of inclusive education is to ensure equal opportunities for all students and facilitate their active participation in the learning process.
The main principles of inclusive education at NTU “KhPI” include:
- Equality: Ensuring equal access to education for all students. This means there is no discrimination based on gender, race, ethnicity, disability, or any other personal characteristics.
- Individualization: Taking into account the individual needs, abilities, and interests of each student. Curricula, teaching methods, and assessments are adapted to meet the needs of diverse students.
III. Accessibility: Ensuring physical access to educational facilities and infrastructure for all students, as well as access to necessary materials, technologies, and support that will help students with various needs succeed in their studies.
