Support of a holistic ethical organizational culture

Our university develops clear ethical values (e.g. diversity, integrity, respect, fairness) and these are enshrined in a publicly available strategic document.

The university has a Department of Learning Quality. One of its functions is to monitor compliance with ethical standards at the university.

Education based on these values is provided at all levels of the organisation.

For example, the Department of Ukrainian Studies provides courses for students. The department teaches the discipline “Ethics of Business Relations” and “Ethics and Aesthetics”. The courses are taught in Ukrainian and English.

Also in NTU “KhPI” there is an Interdisciplinary Institute of Postgraduate Education (MIPE).

The scope of its activities is to deepen professional knowledge and skills: training, advanced training, conducting trainings, seminars, scientific consultations for representatives of educational institutions and industrial enterprises interested in developing the professional competencies of their specialists.

All employees of the university periodically improve their qualifications in accordance with the existing legislation. This includes training in ethical values and ethical culture.

Our organisation has an internal reporting system that ensures the confidentiality of persons reporting violations or the procedure for handling employee complaints regarding employment issues.
