The CIVIC-Institute for international education will conduct a simulation game and workshop series in different locations in Ukraine and Georgia, together with the Institute for Foreign Cultural Relations (ifa), which is funded by the Ministry of International Affairs of Germany.
In particular, National Technical University “Kharkiv Polytechnic Institute” will host several training seminar-simulations on December 08 – 14, 2014.

The motto of the seminar is “Our Community! Debate and Negotiate for Interests and Compromises”. The seminar shows interactive methods in the area of the European civic education. Participants are enabled to receive a deeper understanding of society and society processes from different perspectives.
The organizers of the seminar say: “Our simulation seminar trains actively participation and protection of interests for real acting, to receive a deeper understanding of European sociopolitical connections. On the basis of decision-making processes, you will reach your independent, self-negotiated and comprehensible solutions based European experiences.”
Working language will be ENGLISH.

Eligibility and Registration
Who is eligible?
For the Two Days Seminar: Students from any faculty after their first study year as well as any other non-student participants interested in European integration, democracy and civic society.
For the extra Third Day (Train the Trainer Seminar): Young researchers and trainers interested in democratic teaching / learning.
Please submit a single pdf document with CV, motivation letter (1 page), desired dates and venue by email to the country coordinator.
