Japanese IT-companies became interested in KhPI

Delegation from Japan has visited NTU “KhPI” with the representatives of several companies in the IT industry. They meуt with the Rector of KhPI Yevgen Sokol and the administration of the university’s IT faculties. The goal is acquaintance with KhPI, discussion of cooperation in the field of graduates’ employment of the Polytechnic University, the provision of internships for students in IT areas.

The NTU “KhPI” was represented at the meeting by: university Rector Yevgen Sokol, director of the Educational Scientific and Engineering and Physics Institute Aleksei Larin and his deputy Vladimir Metelev, dean of the Department of Computer Science and Software Engineering Maxim Malko, dean of the Department of Computer and Information Technology Maxim Glavchev.

During the negotiations, representatives of the Japanese companies “Mynavi Global Corporation” – Executive Director of Motoki Yuzuriha and representative of the business strategy department of Shutaro Okamoto, Executive Director of “AGO-RA IT Consulting” Hiroshi Shibata expressed interest in cooperating with KhPI. In particular, сonversation topic was about providing students with the opportunity to take part in paid practice at IT companies in Japan, introducing dual education programs, and employing graduates of the Kharkiv Polytechnic at IT companies in Japan.

Recall that NTU “KhPI” has free Japanese language classes for students of the 4th – 6th KhPI courses who study in IT specialties. They were started in 2017 as a result of a visit to the university of the Japanese delegation.
