NTU «KhPI» scientist held lectures for students of the Romanian university

Kseniia Rezva, a scientist of Kharkiv Polytechnic, held lectures for students of the Polytechnic University of Bucharest (PUB) (Romania). She told the future engineers about the scientific schools and modern developments of the scientists of her department. The purpose of the visit to the Romanian university was the academic exchange of knowledge in the field of hydraulic machines and hydropower and the promotion of scientific achievements of Kharkiv Polytechnic among the university community of Bucharest. The trip to Romania was part of the ERASMUS+ academic mobility program: KA171.

Kseniia Rezva, associate professor of the Department of «Hydraulic machines named after G.F. Proscura» of the Educational and Scientific Institute of Mechanical Engineering and Transport of NTU «KhPI», met with scientists and teachers of the Department of «Hydraulics, Hydraulic Machines and Environmental Engineering» of the Faculty of Energy of PUB. The exchange of experience in the educational and scientific fields took place with the head of the relevant department of the Polytechnic University of Bucharest, Professor Andrei Dragomirescu, professors Carmen Anca Safta, Adrian Ciocanea and their colleagues. The talks and discussions were aimed at finding common interests in the research areas of both universities. They also discussed approaches and strategies for solving vital problems in the energy sector of Ukraine and Romania.

Thus, the meeting identified a range of common interests for further cooperation between the Department of «Hydraulic machines named after G.F. Proscura» of the National Technical University «Kharkiv Polytechnic Institute» and the Department of «Hydraulics, Hydraulic Machines and Environmental Engineering» of the Polytechnic University of Bucharest.
