Psychologists of NTU «KhPI» told about stress resistance at the international conference

Scientists from Kharkiv Polytechnic and universities of Virginia (USA) took part in the 2nd International Scientific and Practical Conference «Actual problems of social development in a society of changes». The initiator of this scientific forum was the department of pedagogy and psychology of social systems management (PPSSM)  of NTU «KhPI».

The conference participants were welcomed by the vice-rector of NTU «Kharkiv Polytechnic Institute», Professor Andriy Marchenko, the director of the institute of social and humanitarian technologies of our university, professor Andriy Kipenskyi, and the head of the department of pedagogy and psychology of social systems management (PPSSM)  of NTU «KhPI», professor Nina Pidbutska. Ukrainian and American scientists discussed important issues for both countries. professor Oleksandr Romanovskyi’s report was devoted to the experience of training leaders at the department of pedagogy and psychology of social systems management of NTU «KhPI», and professor Nina Pidbutska spoke about resilience (stress resistance) in the context of social change.

The presentations of American scientists also aroused great interest among the forum participants: «Organizational leadership for sustainable development in the 21st century, focused on human beings» (Joseph Mukuni), «Educational leadership and the liminality of space and time in crisis and conflict: a critical theory perspective» (Charles L. Lowery), «Creativity in the higher education curriculum for supporting student success» (Carol A. Mullen), etc.

The conference «Actual problems of social development in a society of changes» was held on 28-30 of March, 2024.
