The Department of Software Engineering and Management Intelligent Technologies of the Educational and Scientific Institute of Computer Science and Information Technologies of NTU «KhPI» has successfully passed the procedure of the international accreditation commission ZEvA and received the appropriate international certification for the period up to 2030. It is about the educational programs«Software Engineering» and «Computer Science and Intelligent Systems». In total, 4 bachelor’s educational programs of Kharkiv Polytechnic have gained international recognition. This confirmed the full compliance of the quality, content, methods and technologies of education with international standards of higher education.
The Department of Software Engineering and Intelligent Management Technologies of the Educational and Scientific Institute of Computer Science and Information Technologies of NTU «KhPI», as one of its most powerful components, has successfully passed the international accreditation procedure from ZEvA and received the relevant certificates for the bachelor’s degree programs 121 «Software Engineering» and 122 «Computer Science and Intelligent Systems» for the period up to 2030.
The 60 years of experience of the department of Software Engineering and Intelligent Management Technologies in IT education, professional teaching staff, modern educational programs, innovative teaching technologies, international mobility of teachers and students, as well as the coordinated work of all participants in the educational process allowed NTU «KhPI» to confirm the world level of these educational programs in the IT field of industry.
In addition, two more bachelor’s degree programs of NTU «KhPI» received international accreditation from ZEvA: Management of Organizations and Administrations and Business Administration at the management department of the Educational and Scientific Institute of economics, management and international business.
We should note that international accreditation is one of the mechanisms for providing of higher education quality in the European Higher Education Area. The accreditation provided by the experienced and well-known ZEvA agency demonstrates the competitive advantage of NTU «KhPI» in the higher education market. And the recommendations of qualified experts will determine the strategic goals and directions of further development of the University on the way to integration into the European Higher Education Area.
