Anton Shamrai and Bella Muradyan, fourth-year students of the Educational and Scientific Institute of Social and Humanitarian Technologies of NTU «KhPI», are studying at the University of Eastern Finland and the University of Ljubljana (Slovenia), respectively. Anton Shamrai, a future psychologist, became a participant of the academic mobility program for Ukrainian students, and Bella Muradyan, who will soon become an engineer, – of the Erasmus+ KA1 program. The purpose of the trip of students of the NTU «KhPI» to the leading higher education institutions of Europe was to expand their competencies in the specialties of «Psychology» and «Information and Computer Technologies», improve their English, and meet new people and approaches to organizing the educational process in foreign universities.
Anton Shamrai said that at the University of Eastern Finland he discovered to himself a new format of study, where he chose subjects that differ from those in his specialty of «Psychology» at the department of pedagogy and psychology of social systems management named after academician I. A. Zyazyun of the NTU «KhPI». According to him, this opportunity allows you to study the disciplines that interest you. These include, for example, lectures on philosophy, organizational, clinical and personality psychology.
«The academic mobility program gives you the opportunity to try yourself in different fields, to expand the circle of general and professional competencies. It is a unique opportunity to meet people from different countries. Being in just one place, you get involved in the culture of the whole world. My goal was to improve my English and master my language skills in communicating with new friends, » noted the student.
Bella Muradyan, a student of the department of intelligent computer systems at NTU «KhPI», is studying at the University of Ljubljana, at the specialty «Information and Computer Technologies». The future engineer is confident that her trip to the Slovenian university as part of the Erasmus+ KA1 program has become an incredible experience for her.
«You obtain new knowledge in according to your profile, get acquainted with new approaches to organizing the educational process. In my free time, I have the opportunity to travel, because Slovenia borders Croatia, Austria and Italy, which can be reached in just two hours. I am grateful to Kharkiv Polytechnic for given opportunity to study at the leading European higher education institution!» the student shared her impressions.
