Teachers from NTU «KhPI» gave a series of lectures in Poland

Pavlo Brin and Olena Prokhorenko, professors in the Department of Management at the National Technical University «Kharkiv Polytechnic Institute» (NTU «KhPI»), conducted a week-long series of lectures and practical sessions for students at Jan Kochanowski University of Kielce (Poland) as part of the Erasmus+ academic mobility program. Each of the instructors presented their own original curriculum focused on modern approaches to management.

In April, as part of the Erasmus+ academic mobility program, Pavlo Brin and Olena Prokhorenko, professors of the Department of Management at the Educational and Scientific Institute of Economics, Management, and International Business at Kharkiv Polytechnic Institute (NTU «KhPI»), visited Jan Kochanowski University of Kielce (Poland). Throughout the week, they delivered lectures and conducted practical sessions for students at the Institute of Management within the Faculty of Law and Social Sciences. Each instructor presented their own original curriculum focused on modern approaches to management. Professor Pavlo Brin focused on the role of corporate social responsibility in shaping business competitive advantages: participants examined how strategic communications and a clearly defined mission influence the effectiveness and sustainability of organizations. Professor Olena Prokhorenko focused on practical management tools—methods of delegating authority and approaches to resolving complex management situations; the «conflict cloud» was examined separately as a tool of the theory of constraints for finding balanced solutions.

The visit marked an important step in the development of cooperation between the universities and the expansion of academic partnerships. NTU “KhPI” expresses its gratitude to the administration of Jan Kochanowski University for organizing the visit and for their warm welcome, and in particular to Professor Marta Brzozowska for accompanying and supporting the delegation.
