Yuliia Gadaieva, a postgraduate student of the Department of Chemical Engineering and Industrial Ecology of NTU «KhPI», a multiple European champion in para-armwrestling, won the district competition «Young Person of the Year -2024» in Kholodnohirsk district. Yuliia took part in the district competition «Young Person of the Year – 2014» in the nomination «Physical Culture and Sports» and received a victory for her sports achievements in 2022-2023.
The competition «Young Person of the Year» has been held annually by the Family and Youth Affairs Directorate of the Department for Family, Youth and Sports since 2001. Each year, more than 270 competitors aged 14 to 35 take part in the competition on the recommendation of the relevant institutions or by self-nomination.
In 2022, Yuliia became the world champion in para-armwrestling, winning first place in both arms. The competition was held from 14 to 23 October in Antalya, Turkey. In 2022, Yuliia was awarded the title of HONORED MASTER OF SPORTS. In 2023, Yuliia Gadaieva confirmed her status as a world champion in para-armwrestling, winning the first place in both arms. The competition took place from 24 August to 3 September in Almaty, Kazakhstan. In addition, Yuliia took part in the Alternative Economic and Monetary Systems summer school (Vienna, Austria). The event lasted for three weeks (18.07.22-05.08.22) and was dedicated to the interaction of business, society and the environment.
In 2022, Yuliia was honored by NTU «KhPI» twice. The best sportswoman and the best participant in research work.
Now Yuliia works as a personal trainer at the GYM4fit gym and is studying for a postgraduate degree in Ecology, specialty 101.
