NTU «KhPI» made an important step in the development of international education – the university has signed its first agreement with the Georgian recruitment company Adastra Educate. The partnership aims to attract foreign students and strengthen NTU «KhPI’s» presence in the international education market.
The meeting between representatives of NTU «KhPI» and Georgian partners and the signing of a cooperation agreement took place for the first time at the university in the form of a video conference. The event was attended by NTU «KhPI» representatives: Vice-Rector for International Affairs Gennadiy Khrypunov, Director of the Educational and Scientific Institute of International Education Dmytro Gorovyi, and Deputy Director Hanna Drozdova. Adastra Educate was represented by Director Levan Mchedlishvili and Head of International Partnerships and Intercultural Learning Programs Gigi Metreveli.
On behalf of the rector, Gennadiy Khrypunov welcomed Georgian colleagues and emphasized the symbolic nature of the event: this is the first agreement between NTU «KhPI» and a partner from Georgia in the field of international education. According to him, the university is consistently developing its international direction and already cooperates with dozens of recruiting and educational companies from Asia, the Middle East, Africa, and Europe. At the same time, the new partnership is of particular importance, as NTU «KhPI» is well acquainted with the potential of Georgian applicants.
«Our university has already had students from Georgia, and we highly appreciate their level of preparation, particularly in mathematics and English. These are key disciplines for successful study at a technical university, so we will be happy to see Georgian students at Kharkiv Polytechnic,» said the Vice rector.
During the meeting, participants discussed in detail the opportunities for foreign citizens to study at NTU «KhPI» In particular, the procedures for admission and enrollment of foreign students were presented, who can choose bachelor’s and master’s programs or postgraduate studies – full-time or part-time. Full-time study is implemented in the format of synchronous online learning using modern digital technologies that allow for full-fledged practical and laboratory classes.
Director of Educational and Scientific Institute of International Education Dmytro Gorovyi emphasized that NTU «KhPI» remains one of the leading higher education institutions in Ukraine and is consistently represented in the international academic rankings QS World University Rankings and The Times Higher Education Impact Rankings. This is evidence of the high quality of educational programs and international recognition of the university, even in the context of war.
The meeting on 17 December, 2025 resulted in the online signing of a cooperation agreement, which opens up new opportunities for the development of international education and attracts students from Georgia to study at the National Technical University «Kharkiv Polytechnic Institute.»
