At the end of January 2026, two significant events took place at the Department of Philosophy: graduate students of the Department of Philosophy, citizens of the China, defended their dissertations for the degree of Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) in the specialty B10 – Philosophy. Wang Dezhong defended his dissertation «A philosophical analysis of the sociocultural dimension of Electronic Education in China» and Sun Wei defended his dissertation «Cognitive-Methodological Potential of High Technologies in Chinese Education». Their scientific supervisor, Doctor of Philosophy, Professor of the Department of Philosophy Olga Dolska, became the person who opened up the world of science to the postgraduate students, introduced them to modern requirements for scientific publications, communication, and projects. During their studies, these graduate students actively worked according to the «Philosophy» educational program plan, participated in all scientific events of the university, and successfully represented the Department of Philosophy at seminars and conferences, both Ukrainian and international. The scientific activity and work capacity of Wang Dezhong and Sun Wei did not go unnoticed by the leadership of Jiamusi University (China). Wang Dezhong has held the position of Director of the Department of International Exchange and Cooperation since 2025, and Sun Wei became Dean of the Faculty of Pedagogical Sciences in 2023.
