Tymur Arabadzhy, a professor in the Department of Physical Education at NTU «Kharkiv Polytechnic University», served as an expert at a major international scientific seminar held at the University Consortium in Agrigento, Italy. At the event, dedicated to the role of basketball in the neuropsychomotor development of youth, he presented a report titled «The Integrated Model of the Italian Basketball Federation as a Method for Training Young Athletes.» A World Championship medalist and one of Ukraine’s most famous basketball players, he shared his own experience of combining academic training with practical drills. The event brought together leading scientists and sports experts from Italy, Spain, and Ukraine to discuss modern methods of athlete training.
Tymur Arabadzhy, a Master of Sports of Ukraine in basketball, is one of the most titled athletes in our country. He is a bronze medalist at the 3×3 and streetball World Championships, a Ukrainian champion and medalist, and has repeatedly been named the best and highest-scoring player in Ukrainian championships. His experience as a renowned basketball player and lecturer in the Department of Physical Education at the Educational and Scientific Institute of Social and Humanitarian Technologies of the National Technical University «Kharkiv Polytechnic Institute» was highly appreciated by the organizing committee of the scientific seminar. Professor Tymur Arabadzhy, one of the event’s key speakers, delivered a presentation on the integrated model of the Italian Basketball Federation as a method for training young athletes. He emphasized the importance of combining academic training with practical drills, which made a significant contribution to the international discussion on the development of youth sports. Seminar participants discussed in detail how physical exertion on the basketball court affects cognitive functions and motor skills, drawing on the latest scientific evidence. The event took place at the University Consortium of Agrigento (Polo Territoriale Universitario di Agrigento) with the support of the Italian National Olympic Committee (CONI).

Tymur Arabadzhy, a professor in the Department of Physical Education at the Kharkiv Polytechnic Institute» (NTU «KhPI»), is the author and co-author of over 40 scientific and educational works and teaches the course «Physical Education.» He is a Master of Sports of Ukraine in basketball and 3×3 basketball. As a member of the Ukrainian national 3×3 basketball team, he won a bronze medal at the World Championship, and as coach of the Ukrainian youth 3×3 basketball team, he won a silver medal at the World Championship. He is a champion and medalist of Ukraine in the top and first divisions of the national championship, the All-Ukrainian Universiade, and the Ukrainian Student Basketball League. He has been repeatedly recognized as the best and most productive player in the Ukrainian championships. He was the coach of the Ukrainian student national team at the 2013 World Universiade. He is a champion and winner of the Ukrainian 3×3 Basketball Cup, a Ukrainian youth champion, and a bronze medalist at the World Streetball Championship.
