The National Technical University “Kharkiv Polytechnic Institute” hosted the reception of the delegation of Jordan. The purpose of the meeting — the intensification of cooperation in higher education and increase of the number of Jordan students that are trained in the KhPI.
The foreign delegation was represented by Counsellor for Cultural Affairs of the Ukrainian Division of the Embassy of the Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan (Cultural Relations Department), Mr. Valid Al-Navasreh and employee of the Department, Mr. Mohammed Al-Havamleh. The negotiations were also attended by the Vice-rector for scientific and pedagogical work Gennadiy Khrypunov, Dean of the Faculty of International Education of NTU “KhPI” Igor Tyupa and Deputy Head of International Relations department Alexander Vasilyuk.
“At the moment 7 Jordan students receive their education in the NTU “KhPI”. We aim to expand the collaborative partnership in this field, so the visit of the Embassy of Jordan delegation is very important for our university», — said Gennadiy Khrypunov.
Such cooperation will strengthen the links between universities of the two countries and will allow to work out the mechanism of interaction between the Ministry of Education of Jordan and the Faculty of International Education of NTU “KhPI”.
