KhPI is a Ukrainian World Ranking Leader in Technical Sciences

The NTU “Kharkiv Polytechnic Institute” ranking in the new global RUR Subject Rankings 2022. The University is on the list of the global TOP-500 in the “Life Sciences” (ranks 489) and also in “Technical Sciences” (ranks 488) and it became a leader among Ukrainian Universities. In addition, KhPI participated in “Natural Sciences” (ranks 539), “Social Sciences” (ranks 546) and “Humanities” (ranks 644). On the whole, the Ranking includes more than one thousand universities from different countries of the world.  

In general, NTU “KhPI” rankings by subjects are as follows:

We would like to note that the points granted to the Kharkiv Polytech for each of these subjects are much better in comparison to the previous year. In addition, the University got 54.159 points in technical sciences and it is its highest point in this Ranking.

On the top of the global list in technical sciences are the universities from the USA, Great Britain and China: California Institute of Technology, University of Oxford, Peking University, Harvard University and Massachusetts Institute of Technology.

In other subjects, the best universities are those of the USA, Great Britain and Switzerland.

Reference: Round University Ranking (RUR) evaluates performance of global universities. Twenty carefully selected indicators in four areas are taken into consideration; in particular these are teaching, research, internationalization, financial stability. The purpose is to give topical information on the global higher education.   

RUR Subject Rankings includes six avenues, in particular these are Humanities, Life Sciences, Medical Sciences, Natural Sciences, Technical Sciences, Social Sciences. Totally 1032 global universities participated in this Ranking, and 11 Universities are from Ukraine (NTU “KhPI”, T. Shevchenko National University of Kyiv, Sumy State University, The National University of Ostroh Academy, Yuriy Fedkovych Chernivtsi National University, Kharkiv National University of Radio Electronics, National University «Y. Kondratyuk Poltava Polytechnic», Kremenchuk M. Ostrohradskyi National University, Kyiv National Economic University, Odesa National University of Technology and Kherson State Maritime Academy.
