Scientist of NTU «KhPI» spoke at the international conference on nanotechnology in Italy

Kseniia Minakova, a scientist of NTU «KhPI», took part in the international conference «Nanotechnological Materials and Devices» (NMDC) as a member of the Ukrainian delegation. The event, which was held in the historic city of Paestum (Italy), brought together more than 500 scientists from all over the world. The conference participants focused on the latest scientific and technological achievements in the fields of nanorobotics, nanomanufacturing, nanoelectronics, nano-biomedicine and others.
The сonference «Nanotechnology Materials and Devices» (NMDC), organized by the IEEE Nanotechnology Council (NTC), is one of the flagship series of events in the field of nanotechnology, bringing together scientific achievements in nanoscience and nanotechnology. Kseniia Minakova, associate professor of physics department and leading researcher at the department of micro- and nanoelectronics of NTU «KhPI», joined the discussions in several areas: nanorobotics, nanobiomedicine, nanoptics, nanophotonics and many others. During her speech, she presented a report that covered important challenges in the development of nanoelectronics and advanced systems.
«The conference facilitated the exchange of knowledge and experience with scientists from all over the world. It showed that my scientific research is important and relevant for our country. Currently, the industry of nanotechnology plays an important role in the modern world, so Ukrainian scientists need to take an active role in global scientific events», said Kseniia.

Note:
The IEEE NMDC is the flagship conference series of the IEEE Nanotechnology Council (NTC) dedicated to research achievements in the field of nanoscience and nanotechnology. In 2023, the event was held from 22 to 25 October in the ancient city of Paestum, one of the most important archaeological sites in southern Italy, a UNESCO World Heritage Site since 1997.
NMDC 2023 was dedicated to: nanorobotics, nanomanufacturing, nano-biomedicine, nanomanufacturing, nanoptics, nanophotonics, nano-optoelectronics, spintronics, nanoelectronics: New problems of materials and devices in futuristic systems, nanosensors, nanoactuators, nanomaterials, anometrology and characterisation, modelling and simulation, nanopackaging, nanomagnetics, nanotechnology, nanopower, ecology and safety, nanoscale communications and nanonetworks, nanoacoustic devices, processes and materials, quantum, neuromorphic and non-traditional computing, new plasma nanotechnologies.
