The Educational and Scientific Institute of Computer Modeling, Applied Physics and Mathematics of Kharkiv Polytechnic organized Open Weekend, which took place in the NTU «KhPI» shelter. More than thirty participants had the opportunity to discover the world of physical technologies and innovations together with the higher education institution’s teachers and scientists. Because the institute creates an imaginative space where everyone has a chance to dive into the most up-to-date technologies and receive answers to all their questions.
The Open Weekend festival from the Educational and Scientific Institute of Computer Modeling, Applied Physics and Mathematics (ESI CMAPM) of NTU «KhPI» was a real exposition of innovation and interactivity that covered both those who attended in person and those who joined online. In total, the event brought together more than 30 participants who learned about different interests and views on the future in the field of physical technologies. An online broadcast on the Telegram channel https://t.me/HiTechOsvita made the event accessible to a wide audience, allowing them to receive valuable information from any location.
During the presentation of the specialties (176 – Micro- and Nanosystem Technology, 105 – Applied Physics and Nanomaterials, 172 – Electronic Communications and Radio Engineering), the participants received detailed information about the advantages of the specialties, educational programs, employment prospects and expected changes in the 2024 admission campaign.
The departments of the ESI CMAPM of NTU «KhPI» specialties:
- 176 – Micro- and Nanosystem Technology: Department «Micro and Nanoelectronics».
- 105 – Applied Physics and Mathematics: Departments «Physics of Metals and Semiconductors» and «Radio Electronics».
- 172 – Electronic Communications and Radio Engineering: Department «Information systems».
The meeting with Lifecell representatives was particularly interesting, as they expressed the need for highly qualified specialists in the field of physical technology. This opened up new perspectives for the participants.
The event ended with a fascinating Kahoot quiz, which allowed us to identify the most knowledgeable participants. Based on the results of the quiz, prizes were awarded from Lifecell, providing another incentive for active participation.
The organizers expressed their gratitude to the participants of the Open Weekend festival: «We thank everyone who joined to the event for their great interest and active participation! We believe that this event will help you to make the right choice concerning your future specialty and develop your interests in the field of physical technologies. We wish you success in your future studies and career way!»
