Student of NTU «KhPI» will take part in the 2024 Summer Olympics in France

Sportswoman of Kharkiv Polytechnic Polina Bugrova has qualified to the 2024 Olympic Games. In the badminton competition, she will be the only representative of Ukraine in the women’s singles. Polina Bugrova is a 3rd year student of the department of physical education of the Educational and Scientific Institute of Social and Humanitarian Technologies of NTU «KhPI», she is an international master of sports of Ukraine, champion of Ukraine, winner and prize-winner of international tournaments and stages of the European Grand Prix.

The talented sportswoman from Kharkiv Polytechnic was able to qualify to the Olympic Games thanks to her 74th place in the World badminton federation ranking and the quota limitations for each national Olympic committee.

We should note that Polina has recently won gold and bronze medals at the International Tournament «Mexican International Challenge 2024». Together with Yevheniia Kantemir, she became the champion in the doubles category, and won a bronze medal in the singles.

XXXIII Summer Olympic games 2024 will be held from 26 July to 11 August in Paris (France).  10500 sportsmen from 206 countries of the world will fight for gold medals in 45 kinds of sports. In total 329 sets of awards will be played.
