Polina Bugrova, a student of Kharkiv Polytechnic University, won silver at the International Badminton Tournament «Hylo Open-2024», which was held as part of the BWF World Tour. In the final, the duet of Polina Bugrova and Evgenia Kantemir showed the second result in the women’s doubles category. The competition, which was attended by 274 athletes from 35 countries, was held in Saarbrücken (Germany).
Polina Bugrova, a student of the Department of Physical Education of the Educational and Scientific Institute of Social and Humanitarian Technologies of NTU «KhPI» won the silver award of the International Badminton Tournament «Hylo Open-2024» Together with Eugenia Kantemir, a talented athlete of the Kharkov Polytechnic University won silver in the women’s doubles category. On the way to their success, the girls defeated rivals from the Czech Republic, Spain and Germany, and in a fierce confrontation of the final game they lost to the first pair from Chinese Taipei Song Shou Yun and Yu Chien. This silver award of the prestigious international tournament was the first medal of Polina and Eugenia at the tournaments of the BWF World Tour series.
We should remind that a student of NTU «KhPI» Polina Bugrova became a participant in a summer Olympiad-2024 in France.
