National Technical University “Kharkiv Polytechnic Institute” invites Turkish and Chinese applicants to become participants in the new unique innovative Ukrainian-German project of double bachelor degree diploma program DSG:2 between Kharkiv Polytechnic Institute and Otto von Guericke University (OVGU).
NTU “KhPI” is the only Ukrainian university that offers applicants to enter the 1st year of a bachelor’s degree in a specialty that is agreed upon by a joint program with OVGU and starting from the 3rd year having a German language certificate of B1 level to be enrolled at German University in Magdeburg. After successful studies, students receive two diplomas: one from Ukrainian and one German partner universities.
Duration of study:
- 2 years at NTU “KhPI” (online study format)
- 3/3.5 years at OVGU (offline study format), depending on the chosen specialty. During study at OVGU students will continue studying online at NTU “KhPI” for more 2 years
- After 5- or 5.5-years student will receive 2 diplomas – 1 from NTU “KhPI” and 1 from OVGU
What is required for admission to a German university:
- be a student of NTU “KhPI”
- school certificate with a notarized translation to German language
- German language certificate of B1 level (TestDaF TDN3, Goethe-Zertifikat B1, TELC Deutsch B1, DSH1, DSD1)

Our program is the fastest and most guaranteed way to start studying at a German university.
The rule of the B1 German language certificate is valid only to students of NTU “KhPI” participants of DSG2 program. For admission to any other German university or program, a language proficiency of at least B2/C1 is required.
You are saving time. Only two years at Ukrainian university before the start of studies at a German university.

Extra information
The price of a room in dormitory of OVGU is ~ 300 – 350 EURO per month during the time of study in Germany. The student stays alone in a room.
Payment for the first 2 years of education include preparation courses of German language. The number of listeners in the group is a maximum of 10 people. Study load – 16 hours per week (8 hours of classes with a teacher, 2 hours of conversation club, 6 hours of independent work). Upon completion of preparation courses, a certificate of participation in the courses is issued.
To obtain a certificate of language proficiency (at least B1 level), you must undergo testing at an international testing center. Students must independently find a testing center, register and pay for testing (we can organize centralized testing, for example, in Istanbul). After receiving a certificate of B1 level students will be guaranteed an invitation letter for study at OVGU.
