The «HealthHelper» startup by scientists of NTU «KhPI» took part in the final of the R&D and Youth Entrepreneurship project and took third place in the All-Ukrainian competition Startup Breakthrough 2023. «HealthHelper» is an innovative device that provides doctors with an easy and affordable way to diagnose cardiovascular diseases by providing accurate medical information. The authors of the development are Olena Sergienko, professor of the department of entrepreneurship, trade and logistics at NTU «KhPI», and her colleagues, postgraduate student Pavlo Samus and associate professor Igor Sosnov. For winning in the competition, in which 16 teams competed, they received certificates in the amount of UAH 10 thousand. The project was organized by the Tech StartUp School of Lviv Polytechnic National University with the support of the United States Agency for International Development (USAID). More than 500 teachers, students, and young entrepreneurs took part in it.
The startup «HealthHelper» by the scientists of Kharkiv Polytechnic entered the final of the «R&D and Youth Entrepreneurship project», aimed at developing youth entrepreneurship and innovative research at Ukrainian universities. The development of NTU «KhPI» scientists also took third place in the All-Ukrainian competition «Startup Breakthrough 2023». The authors of the HealthHelper startup are Olena Sergienko, professor of the department of entrepreneurship, trade and logistics at the Educational and Scientific Institute of Economics, Management and International Business of NTU KhPI, and her colleagues at the department, postgraduate student Pavlo Samus and associate professor Igor Sosnov.
We would like to note that last year, the Kharkiv Polytechnic startup project team won a $5000 grant from an international foundation for further development and presented «HealthHelper» at the largest international medical exhibition in the world, «MEDICA 2023». The authors of the development also won a bronze medal in the final pitch of the first Hardware Engineering Hackathon in Ukraine.

The results obtained are sufficient for early diagnosis of blood pressure, vascular health, heart health, detection of defects and blood clots. The device can be used both in medical institutions and at home.
